Our SDA (Specialty Denatured Alcohol) 40B Perfumer's Alcohol is a grain alcohol at 200 proof which allows you, the perfumer, to have more control over the total amount of distilled water you add in your final product.
Perfumer’s Alcohol is the most popular and universal carrier solvent for fine fragrance concentrates because of its miscibility tolerance. When using Perfumer’s Alcohol, your final product can be channeled through an atomizer or spritzer without clogging. The alcohol allows your perfume to be uniformly and evenly spritzed whether it be for the skin, clothes, hair and even as a room spray.
This alcohol has been denatured to prevent it from being used in consumables and is only meant to be used in external applications such as Eau de Toilett, Eau de Parfum, Cologne, Room Sprays, etc.

Excellent product, using it for years. It produces consistently good blending results using a variety of extracts. Merchant is uber-diligent about the packaging and shipping of this product, so that is always arrives in excellent condition, no leaks, etc.
Very good perfumers alcohol, did what it needed to do very happy with it.
For newbies like myself, this is such a staple item to have. I was using a perfume base (not the same as perfumers' alcohol) and the difference is very noticeable. This is better to have on hand all the time.
