ANTHAMBER
ANTHAMBER
Anthamber is a high-performance synthetic aroma chemical, ideal for adding depth and warmth to fragrances in the earth-wood fragrance family. As a middle to bottom note, it offers a rich, long-lasting scent profile starting with a woody base and evolving into ambergris, cedar, aged wood, and hints of powder and violet. This sophisticated material creates a balance between dry wood and warm amber.
Anthamber's exceptional longevity - lasting up to 172 hours on scent strips - makes it a powerful choice for creating enduring, elegant fragrances. Known for its partially biodegradable composition with over 50% renewable carbon, it is also suitable for use in fine fragrances, shampoos, candles, and soaps.
Discovered in 1973 by Hall and Sanders, Anthamber is a DRT (Dérivés Résiniques et Terpéniques) ingredient and does not occur in nature.
